The Wall of Honor

The 1899 Spring City School to Community Center Preservation Project has completed its first phase. Now begins the exciting phase of finishing the interior space of Spring City's Community Center. This is your opportunity to help with the interior restoration by joining the Wall of Honor.

The walls of the central hall will be adorned with engraved  limestone plaques similar to the oolite limestone used in numerous Sanpete Valley pioneer structures. The plaques may be engraved to honor a donor, an ancestor,or as a memorial to an individual or family.

The engraved plaques will be permanently displayed as a testament to the generosity of those who have given to the restoration of this magnificent building.

Sizes

$250-$499 Donation:         Small (6" x 12" ) Plaque-24 letters & spaces

$500-$999 Donation:         Medium (8" x 16") Plaque-24 letters & spaces

$1,000-$9,999 Donation:  Large (12" x 24") Plaque -36 letters & spaces

$10, 000 + Donation:          Large, Framed, Vestibule Honor Plaque

$3.00 per character for extra characters up to 40.




 

The Book of Honor

Spring City's "Old School" has many memories and back stories waiting to be told. If you have a personal story , connections to Spring City and the school, or brief histories of ancestors that can be fitted on a single palge, let us know . We will include them in the Book of Honor within will be located heard the Wall of Honor for visitors and future generations to learn more about those honored on the plaques hanging on the wall.
